Students

At Vieau School, a wide variety of extracurricular activities are offered for students. Extracurricular activities allow students to expand their horizons, develop their talents and become well-rounded learners. These activities provide students with the skills needed to interact in a group setting, allowing them to work comfortably and confidently with their peers.

Community Learning Center

Our Community Learning Center (CLC) offers after-school academic help and enrichment. Students receive additional assistance with their homework and involve themselves in recreational activities.

Fine Arts Programs and Activities

For students who want to focus on their fine arts skills, Vieau offers musical instrument lessons and opportunities to join dancing groups. By participating in a residency at The Skylight Opera, students may develop their musical talent, composition skills and stage presence. Currently, students may enhance their dance skills by joining the Vieau School Dancers, a group that focuses on folk-style dance and performs at various community events, such as Mexican Fiesta. Students may also participate in Ballroom and Tap Dancing. The Ballroom Dancers at Vieau have been featured in nationally recognized American Girl Magazine for their performance in the Danceworks Mad Hot Ballroom and Tap competition. A variety of partnerships exist within the Vieau community that provide students with opportunities to develop their fine arts skills.

Vieau School has a one to one ratio of computer devices to students. The Vieau School staff realizes the importance of preparing students for a world that is globally connected through technology.
