PLTW-Rockwell Automation- Middle school is a time of exploration, a time when students are figuring out what they’re passionate about today and how that relates to who they’ll become tomorrow.

Our brand new STEM lab features our PLTW Gateway to Technology Program and is sponsored by Rockwell Automation. Students work through hands-on units that boost classroom engagement and drive collaboration. The curriculum includes units on electronics, automation, aerospace, and energy and the environment. Students are empowered to develop essential skills such as problem solving, critical thinking, and perseverance.

As students engage in PLTW activities, they see paths and possibilities that they can look forward to in high school and beyond!

Boys and Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee’s mission is to inspire and empower all young people, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive caring, responsible citizens. Boys & Girls Club offers after-school:

  • Teen Programming

SPARK Early Literacy Program operates during the school day in collaboration with the schools and classroom teachers. For K4 participants, SPARK tutors will come to the classrooms at specific times during the school day. At the K5 through 3d grade levels, one-on-one tutoring sessions and individual lessons are developed for each student. The program also includes family engagement so parents and guardians have the tools they need to help their children be successful.

Playworks is the leading national nonprofit leveraging the power of play to transform children’s social and emotional health. We create a place for every kid on the playground to feel included, be active, and build valuable social and emotional skills.
