Principal’s Message

As the  Principal of Riverside University High School it is an honor to welcome you to the upcoming 2024/25 school year!  I look forward to working in partnership with you to grow students and prepare them for college and career opportunities after they leave Riverside. During the time that your child will spend with us, they will grow academically and emotionally becoming both successful and engaged citizens.

Riverside University High School is a college preparatory school where attendance is key to student success. It is the expectation that every student maintains a 95% or higher attendance rate for the entire school year. If you have questions or require support in achieving this goal, please know that the caring RUHS staff is here to help and support our students and families. It is my firm belief that parents, students, and staff must all work together in order to maximize student growth and fully prepare all of our students for life after they leave our doors. During our scholars’ time here, it is the goal of our community to support our students’ academic and emotional growth.

Parents, the staff at Riverside University High School will work hard to develop and maintain good communication practices throughout your child’s time here. We encourage you to seek ways to get involved in your child’s educational experience throughout the school year.  Please feel free to contact our Parent Coordinator, Ana LaLlave via email: lallava@milwaukee.k12.wi.us or (414) 906-5013.

It is a great day to be a TIGER!

Respectfully,

Jeff Lasky
