The first weeks of high school can be exciting and confusing for freshmen. To facilitate a smooth transition from grade 8 to high school, MPS high schools will be participating in a district-funded Freshman Bridge program on August 22-23, 2024.

The goal of the Freshman Bridge program is to get students excited and proud to be attending an MPS high school. The program will allow students to begin developing relationships and strategies that will contribute to their high school success. The Freshman Bridge program will be a lively, energetic, and interactive virtual event that will engage students in multiple activities with school staff and classmates.

Students are encouraged to register for Freshman Bridge. The purpose of the registration is to obtain an idea of how many students will be attending the program. Students are to attend the bridge program at the high school where they are currently enrolled for the 2023-24 school year. The link to the registration form is available below.
