Milwaukee Parkside School for the Arts offers an integrated arts curriculum that applies to all subject areas. The arts integrated approach allows children to be immersed in arts experiences every day across all curricular areas. Students at Milwaukee Parkside learn through the arts, about the arts, and use the arts as an avenue to express and show evidence of learning.
Milwaukee Parkside students participate in a variety of arts experiences in the classroom and through our community partnerships. They attend symphony concerts through the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, participate in the Junior Docent Program through the Milwaukee Art Museum, experience the theater through First Stage, and more. We impress upon our students that no matter how they choose to express themselves, their contributions are worthy, valued and respected.
