Through the Community College Partnership Program, which began in 2021, Johnson Controls provides renewable grants of up to $100,000 per year to community colleges in North America and India with the goal of recruiting, retaining and graduating underserved students from the communities where we have a significant business presence.
In Milwaukee, Johnson Controls donated a HVAC lab to Barack Obama High School of Career and Technology. Here, we partnered with Milwaukee Area Technical College to develop a program where high school student can earn college credit by enrolling in the high school version of this program.
