MSL Announcements 11/7 – 11/11

  • The next German Club meeting will be held on Monday, November 7, 2022 from 3:30 until 4:30 PM in Room 215. Hope to see you there!
  • Drama club will be held in the first meeting to organize the club. Students who did the auditions and the ones sign up are welcome to join.
  • This is a reminder to all Seniors attending the Empower Me Tour on Friday, Nov. 11. Please submit your permission slips ASAP. You must also schedule your onsite college interviews ASAP – link on the Google classroom. Don’t forget about the scholarship!
  • Also all juniors and seniors attending the Carroll University Tour, permission slips are due by Friday to Ms. O’Neil. There are only 40 spots available and seats will be given away on a first come first serve basis.
  • There will a be BSU meeting 6th hour tomorrow in room 114 I hope to see you there!!
  • Leading to our Empower Me Tour on Friday, November 11th we want to share some HBCU Fun Facts: According to the American Council on Education, Although African American students represent the majority 73.8% of undergraduates enrolled at Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Over 1 in 10 (11.4%) students were white, 5.1% were Hispanic or Latino, 9.7% were from other backgrounds, Including 2.5% who were International students. HBCU’s tend to be more diverse in population and culture.
  • Seniors attending the Empower Me Tour- You must bring your permission slips by Thursday, November 10th to room 106
  • Thank you MSL for all your help with the clothing drive! It took us a while to count, so thank you for being patient. The winners of our Clothing Drive for middle school is Ms. Peterson’s homebase and for high school is Ms. Laufenberg’s homebase! Ms. Hamdan’s homebase and Ms. Booker’s homebase were a close second for both middle and high school.
  • This is a reminder that the MSL language clubs field trip to the Holiday Folk Fair is on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 12:00 until 4:00 PM. It is open to all middle and high school language students and families. Please see your language teacher or club advisor for details. Permission slips and fees for the tickets are due next Monday, November 14, 2022. Hope you can join us!
