Milwaukee French Immersion School teachers are certified in elementary education and are fluent in spoken and written French. Their central philosophy is that children acquire a second language most readily at a young age when taught using natural language acquisition methods. Teachers are encouraged to take advantage of educational opportunities for continued professional growth and development. All teachers participate in curriculum development opportunities in order to continually modify the materials and curriculum to best meet the needs of children in their classes.
