Hello MAM Community-

Please plan to join us TONIGHT 3/1 at MAM between 5:30 and 7pm for the first ever MAM Black History Gallery Night.  This event will feature FOUR FLOORS of student work including visual arts, movement performance and more!

• Our Black History Gallery Night will be a self-paced and self-guided tour of the various gallery spaces and include some community collaborative opportunities.
• Entry to the event for ALL will be on the PROSPECT side of the building.  Please enter the main “buzz” door nearest the flagpole or the “tot-lot” door/accessibility door.
• In your program you will receive a Gallery Walk Journey Card – completed cards can be turned in as you exit.  We will draw for some fantastic prizes on Thursday!!

The only TIMED events of the night are the Lower El (1, 2, 3) Poetic Movement presentations. They will be about 10 minutes per class.  Students in these classes and families who wish to watch should report to the gym at the times listed below. Ms. Joelle (dance instructor extraordinaire) will gather the students and transition one class to the next. Please be a very courteous audience as we flow between classes.

Lower El performances in the GYM are scheduled as follows: 

5:45pm – 20/Groh/Jessica
6pm – 33/Taylor
6:15pm – 24/Diana
6:30pm – 23/Sommer
6:45pm – 102/Wright
