“I love teaching and serving as principal at MACL. Each child is unique and learns differently. As principal, I inspire and support staff members as they nurture and encourage students to achieve at high levels. I believe in self-respect, hard work and perseverance. I strive to do my best for our students, staff and parents by creating a secure and enjoyable school environment and providing moral support and excellent educational opportunities for the children. Parents are the first teachers in a child’s life and play a vital role in a child’s education. Education is extremely important in leading a successful life and we are excited to offer Mandarin Chinese language and southeast Asian cultures as part of our curriculum. Every day, I look forward to coming to MACL – it is a wonderful place to nurture, learn, work and achieve.” – Mr. James Sayavong
