Students and staff participated in Orange Shirt Day on Monday, September 30th in remembrance of those who survived and those who did not return home from Indian Boarding Schools. We learned about the past, and explored ways to acknowledge the experience of survivors. Read alouds, documentaries, messages to survivors, and the statement of wearing orange were just some of the ways we recognized this day.
