Students in the International Newcomer Center visited Lakeshore State Park in May.
Indigenous peoples and immigrants have shipped, fished, and utilized the Great Lakes for various reasons over time. Students learned about how these people, including Milwaukeeans of today, have affected the wildlife and natural landscape of Milwaukee throughout history.
