In early November, students in the International Newcomer Center had the opportunity to attend a Marquette Women’s Basketball Game and an Admirals Education Hockey Game. Students not only experienced the sports aspect of American culture, but also learned about how athletics can be tied to the all academic content areas. We are grateful to the Marquette Women’s Basketball staff and the Admirals Hockey staff for inviting us.
