Principal’s Message

Hopkins Lloyd Community School is a tight knit family oriented educational community with warm and friendly teachers, students, parents, and staff, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be your Assistant Principal in Charge. I believe in working collaboratively with staff, students, parents, and community partners in order to continue the success Hopkins Lloyd Community School has worked so hard to achieve over the years. Through this collaboration, I believe we will keep moving our students and school forward, as we navigate our way through this ever changing world.

Our school is made up of outstanding K3 – 5th grade students. Our faculty and staff are dedicated, caring professionals, who love and support one another as both friends and colleagues.

Our school is committed to creating a safe environment for all students and staff, where courtesy and kindness prevail, and where there is respect for differences in other people, customs and cultures. We want our students to work hard individually and as a classroom community to achieve an environment where everyone feels valued, and believes they can be successful. We have developed our Hopkins Lloyd PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Supports) program to help foster a safe and positive learning environment.

As parents and educators, we must form a strong partnership to ensure that all of our Hopkins Lloyd Elementary students receive an exceptional education. I encourage you to participate in school activities and special occasions, as well as volunteer in your child’s classroom if your schedule allows. Together as a school community, we will build on the traditions of the past and meet the challenges of the future in innovative and exciting ways. I look forward to getting to know you this school year and many school years to come. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at (414) 267-0600 or brownr3@milwaukee.k12.wi.us.

Yours in Service,

Mrs. Ralpheal Brown
Assistant Principal in Charge of Hopkins Lloyd Community School
