Picture Day
Pictures will be taken during the first week of school for student IDs and for the yearbook. Please remind your student to look their best for picture day.

Do you need help accessing your child’s grades? Need to contact their teachers?
The district will be offering phone and email support to assist parents/guardians with setting-up and maintaining Parent Portal accounts. This support is for MPS parents/guardians who want to create a Parent Portal account or for those who have forgotten their username and/or password. For support with recovering username/password, parents/guardians should email parentportal@milwaukee.k12.wi.us. Please include the parent/guardian’s name, child’s name, birth date, and a contact number in the email. to assist in resetting the Parent Portal account. If you have not received a phone call or email to reset your Parent Portal within 24 hours, please call 475-8159 for further assistance.

UWM Virtual Tutoring Program
Parents need to registered students and complete a consent form. Then the program coordinator will contact parents/students to pair them with a tutor. He mentioned that there is a waitlist for Math tutoring at this time, but they are working on recruiting more tutors to meet these high demands. Please share this website with anyone who would be interested or would benefit from this virtual tutoring program
Students learn better when they are healthy
Ways to stay healthy include getting all required immunizations, getting enough sleep each night, and eating healthy food. Hamilton offers both breakfast and lunch. If you think your child is eligible for free or reduced meal benefits, please fill out a Meal Benefits Application. You can print a hard copy of the complete application online at
Meal Benefits Applications must be filled out EVERY year, even if you had free lunch in the past. Apply for Free or Reduced Meal Benefits
Students are not allowed to carry medications, with the exception of emergency medications that have a doctor’s order.
If your child requires ANY medication during the school day please contact the nurse at 414-327-9320. Prescription medications require physician and parent signatures. Over-the-counter medications require a parent signature only.
