About

Mission

The mission for Alexander Hamilton High School is for all students to graduate with high levels of academic and personal achievement ready for post-secondary success through research based instruction, hands on learning, and real-world experiences using a collaborative system of support.

Vision

To continuously cultivate a professional and collaborative environment that promotes high standards and a quality education for all students.

Hamilton High School offers a comprehensive academic program that includes: specialized career paths in PLTW computer science, PLTW biomedical science, business and finance, Advanced Placement, and Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC- Army). The school also offers ESL, internships, co-op, volunteering opportunities, an extensive athletic program, and a student-run credit union. Faculty and staff work together to prepare students to be career and college ready.

Additional features: Extensive Athletic Department, Co-Ops, and On-site Educators Credit Union. Our school operates on a shared decision-making model allowing for an “open door” policy to allow for questions, concerns and suggestions as we move forward with success for all.

Hamilton’s motto “Together We Can” promotes the philosophy that forging partnerships with family, community and teachers enables students to be successful, inspired and responsible adults.

WE WILL BE WILDCAT WOMEN FOREVER

by Stephanie L. Meyer (who was also a Wildcat, but at a different school)

Call it fate. Call it an accident. Call it whatever you want. What is certain is that an undying love for Alexander Hamilton High School has called six Wildcat women back to work in the very same building they once entered everyday for four consecutive years as teenage girls.
