
A K-8 school recognized for high achievement, Cooper School provides a solid academic foundation for all children. Cooper promotes positive attitudes toward life, learning and living through authentic learning experiences, community service and a student council. Physical education, music, extra-curricular sports and whole-child wellness and well-being support the success of our K-8 program. Cooper is the only solar panel-equipped school in southeastern Wisconsin.

Mask Mandate levels
The CDC updates its COVID-19 Community Levels data on Thursdays. The district will indicate whether masks are required or optional with an icon (example right) on the MPS homepage and an update on the COVID-19 Updates page.
Parent/Student Handbook on Rights, Responsibilities, and Discipline
The 2022-23 Parent/Student Handbook on Rights, Responsibilities, and Discipline is available at mpsmke.com/rights. The handbook will not be printed and mailed to families this year or moving forward. Families will receive a letter in the mail informing them about the updated handbook and optional forms to complete and return to school.
