Our aquaponics lab was honored at a February 2014 ceremony attended by Mayor Tom Barrett, Growing Power CEO Will Allen, and Wisconsin DPI, MPS officials, and WTEA Executive Director Lauren Baker. Our profound thanks go to AT&T and the NEA for awarding this district-wide grant of $98,000.00. Ms. Sandrin, biology teacher and lab coordinator, will use our portion of the grant for additional supplies needed to upgrade our aquaponics efforts.
Bradley Tech was the showcase example of a working urban aquaponics facility this week when local leaders assembled in Ms. Sandrin’s lab to accept a $98,000 grant from AT&T and the NEA Foundation. Read more on JSOnline and at Fox 6 News.
