The National Academy Foundation

The National Academy Foundation (NAF) is an acclaimed national network of high school career academies predominately based in urban districts-schools within schools-with rigorous, career-themed curricula created with current industry and educational expertise. Bay View High School currently has 2 academies (Engineering & Culinary) and is developing many other partnerships for our NAF board and internship programs.

Project Lead The Way

PLTW is the leading provider of rigorous and innovative STEAM education curricular programs used in middle and high schools across the United States. The PLTW curriculum is founded in the fundamental problem-solving and critical-thinking skills taught in traditional career and technical education (CTE), but at the same time integrates national academic and technical learning standards and STEAM principles.

3DE

Junior Achievement’s 3DE model is a curriculum designed to introduce students to the higher-order thinking required for workplace success.
Milwaukee high school students will engage with local and national businesses to solve real-world, real-time problems. Through small group discussions, collaborations, and debate students will work with mentors and volunteers provided by local and national case partners to work through unique business challenges created just for them. The curriculum is competency based and integrated into all subject areas.
