Summer Meals for Students & Families

Milwaukee families will have two options this summer to receive free meals from Milwaukee Public Schools; MPS Summer Meal Delivery Program & MPS Summer Food Service Program. Click the link below to find out more and register. All Milwaukee children age 18 and under are eligible. In addition, adults are also eligible for the meal delivery program.

COA Food Pantry

COA’s Food Pantry at the Goldin Center is open three days a week. The hours are as follows:

Monday 10:00 am – 1:00PM

Wednesday 3:00 pm – 6:00PM

Saturday 9:00 am -12:00PM

MPS Summer Academy

SAFE and FREE summer programming for K5–grade 12 city of Milwaukee residents! Due to COVID-19, program offerings are subject to change based on the instruction format (virtual or face-to-face). Closest site to Auer is Jackson, a list can be found online. Seats are limited, sign up now! Registration closes 6/7!

COA Family Summer Camp

Camp Helen Brachman is offering exciting three day programs for families! It’s a one of a kind family getaway. There are no age restrictions for children at any of our family camps. The adult(s) in the family are expected to supervise and participate with their children.

Staying Safe During COVID

COVID 19 is still present! It’s important to continue to stay safe and do your part to help stop the spread. Wear a mask to protect yourself and others and stop the spread of COVID-19. Stay at least 6 feet from others who don’t live with you. Avoid crowds and poorly ventilated spaces. The more people you are in contact with, the more likely you are to be exposed to COVID-19.

Helping individuals successfully find work and prepare for careers is at the heart of the work of the Milwaukee Urban League. MUL’s employment and training programs provide a variety of services to help individuals search and prepare for jobs that will improve their futures. Current Programs include virtual Driver’s Education Classes, Financial Empowerment Services, GED plus Career Paths, Transitional Jobs Training and more!
