Milwaukee Public Schools Banner

The Alliance School of Milwaukee is a small, charter school of the Milwaukee Public School system. The Alliance School was the first school in the nation to start with a mission of reducing bullying. The school opened in 2005 with the goal of providing a safe and accepting environment for all students. The Alliance School is a place where it’s okay to be black, white, LGBTQ, straight, Gothic, Buddhist, Christian, or just plain unique!

We currently serve students in grades 9-12 who live in the Milwaukee area. We are part of the Milwaukee Public School system, so we are open to anyone. We have seats for 200 students in grades 9-12, and we follow the early-start high school schedule.

For those of you who have been long-time friends, thanks for all of your support over the years!

We are currently enrolling students for the 2025-2026 school year. Enrolling is easy when you visit the MPS website and click on Schools: https://mps.milwaukee.k12.wi.us/en/Schools.htm.

If you are interested in learning more about enrollment or taking a tour of the school, please call our school leader at 267-5400.
