The ESL program at AAL provides English lessons to students with limited English proficiency. Lessons are designed to help students whose first language is one other than English. While students become proficient in English and learn more about the United States, they are guided to preserve and embrace their native culture and heritage. Lessons are provided during AAL’s literacy blocks.
